Filmmaker Genevieve Bailey – Top 100
The Melbourne Magazine recently published their TOP 100 listing “Melbourne’s most influential, inspirational, provocative and creative people for 2011.”
Genevieve was honoured to make it on the list and to meet some of the others at the launch party and hear their remarkable stories.
From philanthropists, social change activists, scientists, volcanologist, domestic violence campaigners, bicycle charity founders, politicians, and even a pint sized lifesaver!
Shelley, aged 26, risked her own life and ’single-handedly rescued two beefy blokes from drowning in a rip’ in the ocean at Sorrento back beach. It was inspiring to meet people
as energised and obsessed with their work as what we are, even if we are working in very different fields.
It’s wonderful to be included in amongst such an inspiring list of people, big thanks to Melbourne Magazine, Konrad Marshall for the interview and photographer Daniel Mahon.
