I AM ELEVEN wins BEST DOCUMENTARY!
We are thrilled to announce that I AM ELEVEN was awarded BEST DOCUMENTARY at the IF Awards in Sydney, Australia on November 16. Filmmaker Genevieve Bailey was there to accept the award.
A big thanks to all our supporters and all the lovely people who congratulated us on the win. We are proud of all the kids in the film and cannot wait to release the film in your corner of the globe! Many people have been asking ‘how can we see it!?’ and the best way is to subscribe to our newsletter in the white box to the right or screen, and like our FACEBOOK page here. That way you will be the first to know when I AM ELEVEN is screening near you.
We’d like to thank Michelle Carey from the Melbourne International Film Festival for her support and belief in this truly indie documentary project! The response from audiences so far has been amazing!
Congrats to all the other films nominated and all the IF team for what was an unforgettable night!
The IF Awards will be broadcast on SBS TV on Wednesday November 23 at 10pm, with multiple repeat screenings on cable TV Showcase and Showtime throughout November and December.
Special thanks to all the kids and families who made this film possible.
