If you know any 11 year-olds who would like to submit their story to the project please invite them to email us info@iameleven.com, send a 60 second video, a poem, a drawing, photo, anything they like that expresses BEING 11 for them! I AM ELEVEN has been nominated for BEST DOCUMENTARY and the INDEPENDENT SPIRIT AWARD at the IF Awards for 2011!
Described as the biggest film awards night in Australia for 2011, we are very thrilled to be acknowledged in this way. We are particularly proud that Australian audiences have had their say and cheered us on. Big thanks for your support!

With no shortage of impressive films at the festival we are humbled and excited by this great response to the film. Thanks to our audiences and those who voted! We have received lots of messages with great feedback and requests from people wanting to see the film. We cannot wait to share the film with more of you soon! A big big thanks to our wonderful audiences at the 60th Melbourne International Film Festival!
Both sessions sold out prior to the festival opening and the response has been fantastic. MIFF added a 3rd screening by popular demand which sold out too!
